We have had another marvellous day scooting around Knaresborough with the team from Totally Locally HQ.
This time we were accompanied by the amazing photographer Sarah Mason who is taking photographic portraits of businesses and their owners all over town for our new website and business listings. Watch these appear in the business listings on this site very soon.
Chris and Simon were bowled over by how friendly and generous everyone was – there’s a lot of love in this town as well as enthusiasm for getting involved in something that can help everyone work together for the benefit of the town
In what must have looked like pre-arranged timing, we were all marvelling at the fresh and colourful stock in Prudames Greengrocers, when a tray of amazing-looking strawberries was delivered as photos were being taken, freshly picked locally that morning!
If they weren’t exhausted enough from photographing 28 different businesses, recording a podcast and attending meetings all in one day, Chris then presented at the Mitre a second time to traders and local groups – what Totally Locally is all about and what’s happening next. The tray of delicious treats from Number Thirteen kept us going!
Totally Locally Knaresborough helpers will be handing out some posters in the run up to our first public campaign – We Recommend! Businesses will all be filling out posters to show who they personally recommend in town – locals and visitors often ask for recommendations so we will be showing these all over town. There will also be Declaration of Independence posters and Totally Locally stickers appearing in windows soon too, all kindly printed by Sid Horner and Son.
