Northernline Arts is a workshop space that gives people the opportunity to engage in a diverse programme of ceramics. We have a full weekly calendar of daytime workshops that are inclusive to all adults. We also offer evening sessions and weekend workshops. This brings the local community together in a hub that inspires and fires their imagination.
Within the studio, we showcase and sell a range of studio ceramics that are handmade by our resident artists. We offer fun and interactive potters wheel sessions for beginners, creative clay sessions and studio space to professional potters.
At Northernline Arts we always try to present our ideas with a creative vision and an open mind. We believe if you start with amazing out there ideas, the world is your oyster. We have loved working in the arts and have done so since we left university over 30 years ago. We have over 20 years of experience working with adults with a range of disabilities and support needs, as well as local artists, crafts people, children and families, and community groups.
Since opening, we have designed our Knaresborough studio ceramics range which include the famous Knaresborough crag rat, our quirky bespoke ghosts and our stoneware Mother Shipton’s hats!
Northernline Arts really values being part of Knaresborough and its vibrant arts community, and love its community spirit and close-knit friendly supportive environment.
